Calling all cricket lovers and sports enthusiasts! Join us for a fascinating journey through Antigua’s sporting heritage, visiting some of the places connected to the island’s passion for cricket and the legendary players who helped put Antigua on the world cricket map.
Our experience includes a visit to the Antigua Recreation Ground (ARG) in St. John’s, one of the island’s most historic cricket grounds. For generations, the ARG has been an important part of Antigua’s sporting life and has hosted major cricket matches and unforgettable moments. Although the ground is currently undergoing redevelopment, its history and significance remain an important part of Antigua’s cricket story.
We then head to the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua’s modern international cricket venue, named after one of the greatest cricketers to come from the island. Sir Vivian Richards became a global cricket legend, representing the West Indies with his powerful and fearless style of play.
Our tour also takes you through areas connected to Sir Vivian Richards, including the community where he grew up and spent much of his life. You’ll see Sir Vivian Richards Street and learn more about the Antiguan environment that helped shape one of cricket’s most celebrated players.
Along the way, we explore other notable sporting and community areas, including the golf course and some of Antigua’s well-known schools, giving you a glimpse into everyday life, education, recreation, and sport on the island.
